# Conversations

> How AI agent conversations in AI Foundation are stored per backend user, and how to start, switch, rename, filter, and delete them.

Conversations are stored per backend user. Other users cannot see them.

* Click **New conversation** in the header to start fresh. The previous conversation remains in the list.
* Open the conversation list to switch, rename, or delete conversations. Filter by **This page** or **All pages**.
* The AI provider is fixed after the first answer. To use another provider, start a new conversation.
* Conversations without activity are deleted after the retention period (default: 90 days).
