# Renewing or Purchasing a License

Move from trial to paid licensing, or renew an existing paid license, from T3Planet Shop without losing your extension setup.

## Steps

1. In `[T3Planet Shop]`, open the extension card that is expiring or in trial.
2. Click `[Buy]` Button
3. Complete checkout on the redirected shop/payment page.
4. Retrieve the updated license key from email or account portal (if needed).
5. Confirm active status and validity in T3Planet Shop.

## From Trial to Paid

What changes:

* License tier and entitlements
* Expiration/renewal timeline

What stays the same:

* Existing extension configuration
* Activated domain assignment (unless explicitly changed)

## Post-Renewal Verification

1. Reopen the T3Planet Shop dashboard.
2. Confirm status is active and expiry has been updated.
3. Validate extension functionality in TYPO3 backend/frontend.

  Your configuration and activated domains are preserved after upgrading from trial to paid.
