T3AS search Plugin
Configurations
Add the T3AS frontend plugin to your TYPO3 pages to enable the search functionality. This provides a ready-to-use search interface with enhanced usability.
This plugin has two main configuration tabs as described below.
General Tab
Title Defines the title text displayed for the search box. Example: Search
Select Style Selects the style of the search box and results. - Default Style → uses the existing website color scheme - Customized Style (plugin) → applies custom plugin styling
Box Layout Defines the layout of the search box container. Example: Box
Search Icon Icon used for the search field. Example: Universal Icon (t3as-icon-search)
Select Loader Loader animation displayed while fetching results. Example: Skeleton Loader
Primary Color Sets the primary color for the search box design.only applicable when customized style option is selected Example: #f2f1f1
Secondary Color Sets the secondary color for highlights or accents.only applicable when customized style option is selected Example: #d54d44
Text Color Defines the text color inside the search box.only applicable when customized style option is selected Example: #000000
Border Radius Adjusts the roundness of search box corners. Options: Semi Rounded, Fully Rounded, etc. Example: Semi Rounded
Reference Links to display related URLs in search results based on indexed data. When enabled, search results include clickable links from indexed sources (e.g., TYPO3 pages, documents, etc.). These links help users quickly access relevant content associated with their search query.
Result Style Defines the way results are displayed. Example: Summarize
Search Box Tab
Search Form Type Defines how the search input is presented. Example: With Button
Button Type Type of button displayed with the search form. Example: Search Icon
Search Input Placeholder Placeholder text shown in the input field. Example: Enter your words
Recent Search Enables display of recent search queries. Default: Enabled
Recent Search Title Title displayed above the list of recent searches. Example: Recently Searched
Predefined Questions Enables the display of predefined search suggestions. Default: Enabled
Question Position Defines where predefined questions are shown relative to the search box. Example: Near bottom to search box (below-search)
Number of Questions Limit Maximum number of predefined questions displayed. Example: 5
Questions Storage Folder(s) Defines the storage folder where search-related records are stored. Example: SearchRecord [pages_681]
